Haslingden Sports Centre, Rossendale

Rosslee Construction recently completed a project to fit a new roof onto a large section of Haslingden Sports Centre.

The old one had blown off in high winds and deposited itself on the adjoining pub car park after destroying a few cars on its route.

New roof trusses had to be craned onto the roof and tied down. Masonry repairs were carried out.

The new roof was insulated and clad in plastisol coated steel roof sheets.

Health and Safety was a major problem with the site as the centre was heavily used by the public.

The building was fully scaffolded and protective fans used.

Rosslee Construction carried out this contract to the time scale and budget allowed.
