Rosslee Construction has a comprehensive Company Health and Safety Policy and a management structure that indicates the levels of responsibility. Our top priority is the health and safety of our staff and employees, the public and our fellow contractors.
CHAS - We have been accredited with CHAS (Contractors Health and Safety) since Octobr 2006. On an annual basis the company has demonstrated compliance with sound management of current basic health and safety legislation.
The Management team has been trained in the CDM (Construction Design Management) Regulations of 2007. The majority of our contracts now fall within the constraints of these regulations. The company encourages a climate which promotes staff commitment to health & safety and does not accept any lack of commitment to these standards. All Site Managers and Foremen hold the SMSTS qualification.
Rosslee Construction is a company that is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment by delivering high quality professional services to our clients and is proactive in ensuring the safe execution of all works undertaken.
All contracts are issued with site-specific Health and Safety Plans which include Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and guides to the safe use of machinery etc. All our onsite operatives receive a site induction from our Site Manager before commencing work on site.
Extensive Risk Assessments, Method Statements and education of our workforce are all important factors to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone involved on the site - either working or visiting.
Our expectations of Health and Safety standards from our employees and sub-contractors are very high, The company is committed to monitoring our achievements on site and therefore continually improving our performance.
