To further reduce our carbon footprint we have installed solar panels here at our premises on Black Abbey Street.
Work commenced on St Mary Magdelens School, Accrington.
We have installed a new wood burner in our Joiners Shop - this will not only help to heat our workshop and offices but will also reduce our waste. We can now burn all or joinery waste, not only from the Joiners Shop, but also from our sites.
Ashley Warburton our Apprentice Ground Worker is to recieve the Learner of the Year award from Accrignton & Rossendale College - Congratulations and Well Done Ash.
We were delighted to raise over £600 for Breast Cancer Research in our Wear it Pink campaign
Blackburn College - one of the very old statues has to be removed as it is in danger of falling. A crane and specialist team has been organised to remove the statue which will be packed away and preserved.
The Foyer, Blackburn is being handed over - Conversion of shop units into 2 bedroom apartments

We are very busy at the moment in the office and on site. Lots of enquiries coming in.
We are currently revamping our Joiners Shop here on Black Abbey Street. We are making more effective use of the downstairs area and therefore enabling our joiners to produce items more efficiently. During this 'revamp' we are also going to install a biomass woodburner, which will assist with our wood waste whilst helping to heat the premises.
Andrew, our General Foreman, held a Meet the Builder day at St John Southworth School in Nelson for all the pupils. He talked to them about staying safe on a building site - and he organised a competition for the children to design a poster of 'How to Stay Safe on a Building Site' Check out our page to find the winning entry.
Our Contract at Blackburn College is progressing nicely and the property on Windermere Avenue is sold.
The contract to convert a stairwell, at a Solicitors in Blackburn, into offices completed a week ahead of schedule.
On the 9th May we commenced a contract at St John Southworth RC Primary School in Nelson. This is a particularly interesting project in its use of sustainable and recycled materials. Follow our ' twitter tweets' for regular updates of the project
