An extension to the reception classroom is currently being built. This will form a larger class area and outside play area. The extension will be sat on mini piles and ground beams, there is a suspended pre-cast concrete floor and a cast insitu suspended concrete floor.

Specialist propping arrangmenets had be be designed to form the opening for the extension.

Andrew our Contracts Manager did a Builders Talk with the children on Health & Safety on a Building Site - and the children designed a Safety Poster, we had som brilliant designs -
