Rosslee were awarded the contract for the Croft Medical Centre new build.
Firstly, work commenced with the excavations and groundworks for the drainage and service cables, prior to installing the building’s foundations.
Secondly, the 2-storey build started with a partial steel frame and concrete block work. Subsequently, the building was 3/4 rendered and ¼ stone-faced. Further to this, a flat roof was installed, and aluminum glazed windows and doors were fitted, with the main doors being automatic opening. In addition, a full M&E package was installed including a plant and boiler room.
Internally, a reception area, toilet facilities, and several treatment rooms were completed with high specification finishes, flooring, and fully decorated throughout. Meanwhile hard and soft landscaping was completed externally, along with car parking and a vehicle barrier at the entrance.
In short, the key areas of the design work were the mechanical and electrical, roof design, steelwork, and beam and block flooring.
The Croft Medical Centre new build was a Design and Build contract with a private client in Huddersfield.
