Rosslee were awarded the contract at Othen House, Middleton to strip out the kitchen and WCs, and newly fit out and decorate both areas.
Kitchen works consisted of the initial strip out of the existing kitchen which included the ceiling, floors and existing kitchen. The rooms were then fully decorated in new colours, new vinyl and carpet floor coverings laid, and a newly fitted kitchen complete with a large larder fridge, dishwasher, and an aqua libra tap that supplies both hot and chilled water at the press of a button. New light fittings and power supplies along with new plumbing, radiators and ventilation were installed.
The WCs, both male and female, were completely stripped out of all existing cubicles, vanity units and floor coverings. Light fittings along with the existing ceilings were removed, existing tiled walls were removed, which in most cases meant the ageing plaster fell off the walls and needed to then be fully re-plastered.
The rooms, once stripped back to bare brick were rewired both in the ceilings and the walls, then the new walls received new altro white roc wipeable walls. New suspended ceilings, light fittings, and vinyl floor coverings, modern cubicles and vanity units were all fitted along with new sanitary ware.
