Value: £1.2m                      Client: Highfield Priory School

Rosslee were awarded the contract for a new build nursery within the grounds of the existing Highfield Priory School.

The new building is single storey, built on traditional strip foundations, brick and block cavity walls, UPVC windows and aluminium doors, a truss roof with roof tiles that also incorporate solar panels. The floor is a pot and beam floor with an insulated screed floor.

There are two canopies, one located either side of the building for external play, and one canopy over the front entrance to the building.

The entrance façade to the building is rendered and has the school logo signage attached. The externals of the building were finished with a tarmac path to the rear and soft surfacing to the surrounding areas.

Internally, the new building had full M&E services installed. All the walls were dot and dabbed, then skimmed, new ceiling grids throughout, and new floor finishes along with all decorations.

The toilets had toilet cubicles, IPS panels and sink troughs installed, and the kitchens were fitted to the staff room, messy play, and food prep kitchen. All internal doors are fire-certified and installed in accordance with the manufacturer.

This contract has left the client with a modern and efficient facility.

“A reliable family run company, who collaborate well with the client and design team to achieve a good quality scheme.”
