Rosslee were awarded the contract to complete refurbishment works to the swimming pool building.

Externally works began with the stripping of the existing flat roof covering, followed by the installation of the new flat roof including new fascia and rainwater goods.

An Air Handling Unit was installed on a new reinforced concrete slab before the new fencing and gates were installed around the unit and along the side of the building. Externally, the walls were decorated to client specifications too.

We installed a new entrance canopy with steps and handrails, along with new signage. Cedral weatherboard cladding was installed to the exterior entrance, and new glazed aluminium framed entrance doors. Internally new flooring was laid, and a suspended ceiling installed with new lighting incorporated. The existing paving slabs surrounding the area were re-levelled with a new continuation around the corner.

Asbestos was discovered in the plant room ceiling, we arranged for this to be removed by specialist subcontractors, as this was unexpected works we needed to plan it due to the extra diligence needed.

Internally we replaced the existing boiler and heat exchange unit within the plant room. The ceiling in the plant room was fire boarded, skimmed and decorated and installed new fire doors with timber architraves. A new worktop and sink were also built.
