Rosslee were appointed by SDA Consulting to undertake the construction of a two-story building extending the existing Primary School in Lostock, Preston, creating 4 additional classrooms, a bathroom and a communal area.
The building exterior was a combination of brickwork and rendered block to produce a decorative finish. Tall aluminium windows and doors were installed allowing plenty of natural light into the building.
Internally the walls were dry lined and plastered; ceiling grids were fixed along with new floor coverings. The bathrooms were fitted with high spec cubicles, toilets and wash basins. A concrete pre-formed staircase was fitted, covered with vinyl visible end strips and completed with glass panel and stainless steel balustrades with oak handrail. To finish all of the rooms were decorated to a high specification.
