Rosslee have been awarded the design and construction of 8 cottage style apartments for affordable rent by Wigan Borough Council.
Works restarted in February with the site gated and fenced for tree protection and health and safety, along with site clearance. Drainage has commenced and manholes were installed. Followed by foundations being constructed with ground floor block and beams installed.
Works have progressed with pre-cast concrete first floor beams, as Plot 1-4 is almost to roof height and Plot 5-8 is at first floor level.
Up coming works include continuing on with brick works, installing of roof trusses, roof coverings, gutters and rain water pipes. Then installation of windows, take down of the scaffolding, and excavate for and install water storage tank.
