The extension and refurbishment project at this property comprised of complete demolition of existing outbuildings and the construction of a new extension, together with significant external works including retaining walls and landscaping.

The new extension is a modern design and contrasts with the existing traditionally built stone main house. The construction comprised of a steel frame with matching stone facades, zinc roof, Rock-clad panels and large full height glazed walls which enable superb views across the Ribble Valley.  External retaining walls with stone copings are constructed in natural stone to match the buildings, and the large garden areas are mainly turfed over a granular sub-base and an extensive new drainage systems.

The driveway incorporates new stone boundary walls with stone copings and metal railings.
